Agriculture Literacy Internship (Fall 2026)

The Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic Agricultural Literacy Intern to support our Ag in the Classroom program while helping tell the story of agriculture through communications and community outreach. Working alongside the Development & Agricultural Literacy Specialist, the intern will engage students, support educators, create marketing content, and help promote agricultural literacy throughout Kane County. This flexible internship is designed to fit around a student's academic schedule while providing hands-on experience in agricultural education, nonprofit programming, communications, and event planning.
Dates: September – December (Flexible)
Location: Kane County
Time Commitment: Approximately 100 hours
Stipend: $1,500
