Touch-A-Tractor
Get up close and hands-on with agriculture at Kane County Farm Bureau’s annual Touch-A-Tractor event, happening every April! Held on the front lawn of our building at Randall Road and Oak Street in St. Charles, this family-friendly event brings the farm to you.
Climb on real farm equipment, meet local farmers, visit with farm animals, and enjoy games, activities, and story time designed to spark curiosity and build a deeper appreciation for agriculture.
Admission is a requested donation of $5 per family—making it an affordable and memorable experience for all ages. Come explore, learn, and play!
Discover agriculture through the power of books in our Konen Family Agriculture Library. This lending library features a wide selection of accurate, engaging, and age-appropriate titles that help bring farming and food systems to life.
Visitors are welcome to stop in and read, or check out a book to enjoy at home or in the classroom. This resource is made possible through the generous support of the Konen Family, helping us share the story of agriculture with our community.
Kane County Fair
The Kane County Farm Bureau is proud to be a long-standing part of the Kane County Fair, connecting with the community while raising funds and support for our Foundation scholarships and agricultural literacy programs.
Stop by to experience our farm zoo, try your luck with bucket raffles and the Foundation raffle, and shop local in our Country Store. Every visit helps support future ag leaders and expand agricultural education right here in Kane County.
Join us July 15–19 for a fun-filled week at the fair. We can’t wait to see you there!
