Fall is a good time for a soil test
Your garden is pretty much done for the year and soon you'll put that lawn mower away for the year. Now's the perfect time to package up some soil and bring it to the Kane County Farm Bureau for a soil test. The best way to get the lushest lawn and the tastiest tomatoes is to make sure your soil's fertility is up to snuff. No lawn or garden can be its best without periodic replenishment of nutrients. Click here for a soil test form and easy 3-step instructions on collecting your sample.

Harvest for ALL helps local food pantries
By pledging a portion of their harvest proceeds, local farmers are helping restock the shelves of local food pantries through Kane County Farm Bureau’s Harvest for ALL campaign.  The program was developed to feed the hungry and remind everyone where food comes from...farms. More than 1.2 million meals (and climbing) provided in cumulative hunger relief - join in the fight against hunger! Participation form.
