Scholarships

The Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation was established in 1989 by Kane County Farm Bureau to carry out charitable work in the advancement of agricultural literacy and preparing students and leaders for careers in the agriculture industry. The KCFB Foundation provided 22 scholarships last year and since 1989 has awarded over $500,000 in tuition assistance to local college students.

The Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation offers up to 21 scholarships to members or dependents of members, and to non-members, who wish to pursue higher education in an agricultural related field. As a not-for-profit entity, the Kane County Farm Bureau Foundation solicits and distributes private funding for agriculturally related education and leadership training, Ag-in-the-Classroom programs, Ag Literacy Library development, charitable activities and research.
